If you are into a low-key place where the local MOCA art/hippie crowd likes to hang out and if you are into beer, then this place is for you. Luna Star has over 100 selections. The beer varies in price and there is a beer for every price range.

From the outside, it does not look like much, but when you walk in, the place radiates a great vibe with a very cool ceiling that resembles a log cabin.  

Their food is excellent. They have plenty of appetizers and entrees at very reasonable prices, (symbol $$).

The staff is beyond helpful and friendly, and the food is just as incredible as their beer selection. The owner will go out of her way to create something for you to like, while the waite staff offers you their newest beers and their all time favorites.

Luna Star also has live music throughout the week. Folk-style music fills the place nightly (check Luna Stars website for performances). From Tuesday through Saturday, they provide live entertainment with an occasional poetry night and plenty of bohemian culture.

If you are one that likes acoustic/folk singer-songwriter type music, then you will likely find something right up your alley here. All-in-all, a great place to chill with a meal, coffee or a brew.

There is plenty or parking outside the café but make sure you bring cash because credit cards are not accepted.

Wear your smile and prepare to escape from Miami.
